Here she is after she was cleaned up a little just a few minutes old.

Believe it or not, it was just a yawn. After lots of sleep on day 2 she stayed awake for a couple hours to check out the new environment.

Lily Kathryn Carpenter was born at 9:34 on Monday night. She weighed 8 pounds and 6 ounces and was 20" long. She is beautiful! Liz is doing great but very tired. Thank you to everyone for celebrating her with us!
