So, we had a little birthday party for Lily Kate, dinner and cake with friends. She absolutely loved playing with the other kids and the cake was a highlight. It was so great to celebrate the first year of her life with people who love her.

happy birthday lily kate! it feels like yesterday we were emailing... (i was pregnant & she was only around 10 weeks old. you were a new mom in love) where, oh where, does the time go? she's such a big girl now!!!
