I thought I'd recap the conversation I had with my little 20month old fireball. I heard her talking loudly so I went in to her room to get her up from her nap and the moment I opened the door she started talking to me, "Mommy, I need a new diaper (smell the air, she is correct), I wanna diffent shorts (notice her shorts are lying on the floor, she took them off and threw them out), I like a fave-rit song "ooh ahh" (I know the song she's talking about, it's on a CD that Mom gave me that I'm going to toss out the car window like a frisbee very soon, Mom knows she listened to it non- stop while she visited!), I wanna chock-it milk. I wanna chcok-it milk in Sissy's cup." Pause, looks at me...."I need a new diaper." Wow, clearly I had better get busy :)

Tate Trip
Look at this place, isn't it beautiful? This is the view from the porch of the Tate house that has been in Parks' family for years. Below is a decent family picture. Kate is wearing the third dress that I made while we were there (see post below)
Above, Lily Kate and Lillian were two peas in a pod. They got along so well. Here they are swimming together like big girls. (Below) Charlotte wanted to wear her goggles, she looks all decked out and ready to swim.

I absolutely love this shot, it just makes me laugh. Kate looks so serious staring off and Charlotte is all ready for the camera

Making Dresses
I have been wanting to make some of these T-shirt dresses for a while. Charlotte has one I bought and I kept eying it up thinking, "I know I can do that". I made three while were at our family's lake house. I didn't get a clear shot of the third one (my fave) but I'll post a picture of Kate wearing in one of our Tate shots. This might be my new favorite hobby.

Family Visit!

We went to Carolina Beach for kids night. There was face painting, a bouncy slide, Dora the Explorer (it was priceless to see Charlotte clapping and yelling "Doo Wa", she was enamored), night swimming, glowing bracelets, & famous Britt's donuts.

Sweet Scott checking out a crab claw. Over the week my family became obsessed with finishing this thousand piece puzzle. I was going strong until about 1:30am when I fell asleep. I woke up to this picture being taken. I guess I'm not as hard core and they are.
