One of my FAVORITE things about summer is our Sunday evening standing date with friends at the beach. Every week the kids play in the sand and water and the adults drink wine and eat a picnic dinner in our chairs. Most weeks the kids are so occupied with each other that we get to catch up and relax. It's the best.
