My favorite hobby....

For over 2 years I have been couponing and, over time, it has become one of my favorite things. This week is triple coupons and Harris Teeter and my birthday all in one week, ahh life is good. Anyway, I have an obsession - I got the stuff in all three pics for 16.03 total. Who wouldn't get addicted to that!

It's amazing how our grocery trips have extremely similiar items and costs, huh wonder why? :)

Ok, first of all, I always forget that that is the name of your grocery store. Love it. Secondly, Michael and I had a huge debate over whether or not this post is true. Seriously? You bought all like, 100 items for 16 bucks??

Oh, it's true. We spend $200/month on all of our groceries - and that counts beer (but not diapers). This crazy couponing has changed my life!

Ok, were those Rold Gold pretzels already opened, or did Parks get hungry before the pic?

Also, INCLUDING beer? Do you make him drink Natty Light?

I was just thinking the same thing! Plus thinking that you might as well bathe in bbq sauce since you have enough. Crissy would. I'm just saying.

in response to the comments:

Natty Light is gross, I usually buy Yeungling, today I got Corona

Charlotte opened the Rold Gold before we paid for them, She was eating them while we shopped

I give away tons of food -mainly to YL leaders b/c they are in college and they have no food, but you should see my 2 pantries & my deep freezer :) It's slightly embarrassing...

Oh my! I wish I was motivated to do the couponing thing- it just feels so overwhelming. I spend almost $200/week. Ugh!

Liz, HOW DO YOU DO THIS???? I've been studying southernsavers.com, but I can't seem to save more than a couple of bucks using coupons. I can't beleive you only spend $200a month on groceries... INCLUDING BEER! Please teach, direct me!

Ok, Liz, what did you use to learn to get started? I mean, $200/month, that's amazing! Also, how much time each week does it take you?
